AICSYS Inc. Releases the New 2U Industrial Chassis

AICSYS, Inc. (www.aicsys.com.sg) announces the release of the newest addition to its ruggedized chassis product family; the RCK202B a 2U Rackmount industrial chassis. Measuring a depth of only 450mm (17"), RCK202B provides an ideal solution for those applications where depth can make or break a project.
The chassis is designed to support a PICMG Backplane and Full-Size SBC, and it is a perfect choice for any DVR or storage application. Although compact in size RCK-202B can support up to three drive bays, (2) 5.25" or (3) 3.5" internal drives. Additional I/O expansion can be easily configured through the optional 2 or 4-PCI slots found on the PICMG backplane. Two 8cm ball bearing fans ensure excellent airflow when faced with a heat sensitive application. The RCK-202B provides a robust solution to any server application, while still remaining compact.
Besides, the most attractive feature of this chassis which can benefit customer in most of their application is the chassis can accomodate PS2 size power supply hence the customer can choose any type of PS2 power supply from 300W, 400W, 500W or redundant power supply which is widely available in the market. In this way, customers are not longer limited to buy the chassis with it's power supply. This means flexibility and cost saving. Most of the 2U chassis that available in the market are designed for 2U power supply and they are limited up to 300W only, said Mr. Wang the chassis PM when asked about the power supply for the new chassis.
