AICSYS, Inc., Taipei, Taiwan announces the release of the AURORA-615, 15" LCD/TFT Rackmount Monitor with optional Touch Screen. The AURORA-615 provides the perfect Rackmount solution to those applications where performance and appearance cannot be compromised. Designed to be compatible with any standard 19" Rack, the AURORA-615 housing is constructed of heavy-duty steel with an aluminum front bezel to protect the panel from any unexpected disturbances to the panel itself. Designed with a "pocket" to house the power adaptor at the rear of the panel, thus eliminating a cabling problem down the road, the AURORA-615 measures 480mm(w) x 266mm(h) x 46mm(D) + 34mm (adaptor pocket) which equates to 6U on a 19" Rack. The LCD Display is manufactured by Samsung and boasts many of the qualities that set Samsung apart from other manufactures, making it ideally suited for any industrial application. A wide viewing angle of L65 to R65/H50 to L60 (H/V), 1024 x 768 (XGA) resolution, and 250 cd/m2 brightness from (4) CCFL backlight lamps for High-Bright applications, the AURORA-615 can easily be mounted in a Control Room, Manufacturing Floor, or even an Operating Room, where the amount of direct light varies greatly. Standard features include OSD for control of the display image, easy connection to any PC through either Analog RGB or Video interface, analog to digital conversion plus NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoding, and complies with the VESA/DPMS standards. When paired with the optional Touch Screen the AURORA-615 provides the perfect interface for a Kiosk, POS or HMI application.
